Dosing pumps for flue gas desulphurization (DeSOx) and DeNOx systems
High-performance UREA dosing pumps for exhaust gas purification systems and dosing pumps for soda or caustic soda for desulphurization
SCHERZINGER pumps for optimum metering of liquids in exhaust gas purification systems
Effective waste gas cleaning plays a central role in modern waste management and energy generation. Waste incineration plants, cement plants with waste co-incineration, biomass cogeneration plants and similar facilities require precise solutions for dosing chemicals such as caustic soda or soda ash into the exhaust gas cleaning systems.
In addition, SCHERZINGER's sophisticated gear pumps also deliver the required quantities of UREA in variable amounts to keep your systems in optimum operating condition at all times. They are easy to integrate into almost any existing SCR system and can be easily adapted for planned systems.
Optimum integration for SCR, DeNOx and DeSOx systems
Our pumps are specially designed for seamless integration, including into existing flue gas cleaning systems. Whether for waste incineration plants, cement plants, coal-fired power plants or plants for burning harmful wood - we offer customized solutions for your specific requirements. Our experienced team of engineers will support you in selecting and implementing the optimum gear pumps to ensure efficient chemical handling in your flue gas system. In this way, we help to ensure that your systems always operate reliably and in an environmentally friendly manner.

As part of SCR technology (Selective Catalytic Reduction) and SNCR technology (Selective Non-Catalytic Reduction), Scherzinger pump solutions are specially designed to help effectively reduce nitrogen oxides (NOx) in industrial exhaust gas streams, such as those produced in waste incineration plants or cement works. Our dosing pumps can precisely deliver reducing agents such as urea solution (AdBlue®), ammonia water or urea: In the SCR process, these agents react with the nitrogen oxides in a special catalytic converter and convert them into harmless nitrogen (N₂) and water (H₂O). Alternatively, SNCR technology can also be used, which offers the advantage of lower technical complexity.
In addition to helping with NOx reduction using dosing pumps for SCR technology, Scherzinger also offers specialized pump solutions for flue gas desulphurization (DeSOx). In these systems, chemicals such as caustic soda or soda ash are used to effectively neutralize sulphur dioxide (SO₂) and thus reduce the environmental impact of sulphur emissions.
Scherzinger's dosing pumps and modules are flexibly configurable and adapt seamlessly to the specific requirements, such as changing flow and pressure requirements of your exhaust gas cleaning system. Whether installing in a new system or retrofitting existing systems, Scherzinger's customized solutions ensure easy integration and optimal performance. This way you can ensure that your waste gas cleaning system in waste incineration plants or cement works complies with the current emission regulations for DeNOx and DeSOx and operates reliably.
Yes, absolutely. With our comprehensive expertise in the field of pump technology, we offer our customers and partners individual advice and solutions. Our aim is to understand your specific requirements precisely and to develop customized pump solutions tailored to them. For example, whether you are planning a new SCR system or want to optimize an existing system - we are at your side as a competent partner. We also offer DeSOx solutions to help you with flue gas desulphurization and increase the efficiency of your systems.
Our dosing pumps are designed to efficiently pump urea, ammonia water, caustic soda, soda ash or other chemicals and help reduce emissions in your flue gas systems.
Our dosing pumps can be used flexibly and are designed for different pressure requirements. They enable injection in the low-pressure range up to around 6 bar, which uses compressed air to create a fine turbulence of the reducing agent, as well as high-pressure systems between 7 and 10 bar, which atomize the agent purely through liquid pressure and inject it directly into the exhaust gas flow.
Flue gas desulphurization sometimes places different demands on the dosing. This is where our pumps stand out with their wide range of pressure and flow control options. DeSOx systems with sodium hydroxide solution, for example, are easier to implement than ever before.
For optimum installation, the pumps should be installed at tank level with a free inlet. This ensures an even liquid supply, minimizes mechanical stress on the pump components and prevents suction problems to ensure efficient exhaust gas cleaning.
Scherzinger pumps for waste incineration plants and cement plants are suitable for exhaust gas cleaning systems according to European and American emission standards, including the BImSchV (Federal Immission Control Ordinance), the IED (Industrial Emissions Directive), Stage V for the European market and EPA Tier 4 Final as well as the New Source Performance Standards (NSPS) for the American market.
Our dosing pumps are available in different sizes and configurations to handle AdBlue® or caustic soda flow rates from 0.5 to 1500 liters per hour. This means that a wide range of exhaust gas volumes and pollutant concentrations can be treated flexibly. This allows a wide range of exhaust gas volumes and pollutant concentrations to be treated flexibly. Adaptation is achieved by selecting suitable pump sizes, which can be used both individually and in parallel.
Scherzinger pumps are equipped with 12 or 24V BLDC motors and can be driven by an external controller or an integrated pump controller from Scherzinger. They can be connected to industrial control systems via various bus systems such as CANopen, Profibus, Profinet, EtherCAT and more, which offers maximum flexibility for integration into existing infrastructure.
